The app leverages Apple’s Live Activities, the same technology used for tracking sports scores, Uber arrivals, or food deliveries. By utilizing the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, Binge provides timely notifications during your movie. To activate this feature, simply tap the clock icon on the jump scare detail page when you start the film. Users also have the option to filter for only “major” scares if they prefer a less intrusive experience.
